Adaria is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from North Carolina State University and her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University. She is also currently working on her PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy with specialization in couples therapy in order to grow in her therapeutic abilities.
Adaria has experience working as an outpatient therapist providing community based therapy to a wide range of individuals. Her specialties include anxiety, depression, stress management and couples therapy. In couples therapy, she incorporates Gottman methodology, a scientifically based method which helps couples break through barriers to achieve greater understanding, connection and intimacy in their relationship. Adaria is a Gottman Level I and II trained therapist and also a PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator.
In her spare time, Adaria enjoys spending time with her two fur babies, Mason and Mia. She also enjoy going out to eat, and spending time with her friends and family.
