Jessica Curtis



Jess earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and her Master of Social Work from N.C. State University. She believes the therapeutic alliance is the foundation of effective therapy. This alliance encourages self-acceptance by providing clients with a non-judgmental setting in which to express themselves. Jess uses Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and solution-focused techniques to help clients better cope with all areas of their lives. Jess enjoys working with adolescents and adults. She is particularly interested in:
