Lindsay Rho received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University in May 2020. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) and is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Lindsay is also working toward her Play Therapy Certification.
Lindsay believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship. She enjoys working with children and adolescents who need help with anxiety, depression, grief, family relationships, low self-esteem, social skills, and trauma. She is grateful to have a supportive and active role in and assisting her clients on their journey to healing and wellness.
Lindsay’s therapeutic approach is influenced by Person-Centered therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy techniques, creative art techniques, trauma-informed care, multiculturalism, strengths-based approaches, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques. She is also comfortable using faith-based counseling approaches upon request.
