
Cassi Rodgers

Cassi Rodgers is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCASA). She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UNC Chapel Hill, her Master of Developmental Psychology from Lancaster University, and her Master of Social Work from North Carolina State University. Prior to joining the Horizon team, Cassi worked with children with developmental disabilities in both clinical and research settings. Additionally, Cassi worked as a Permanency Planning social worker in DSS where she supported children and families with complex trauma needs navigate the foster care system. Cassi currently works in behavioral health in an emergency room setting.
Cassi enjoys working with children and families. Her counseling style is strengths-based, person-centered, and strives to be trauma-informed. Cassi believes play is a key concept in therapeutic intervention and utilizes play therapy in addition to more traditional counseling techniques such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
In her free time, Cassi enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, Heidi. She loves traveling, reading, and coffee shop hopping.
