Danielle Cullen is a LCMHCA with over five years of experience in the mental health field. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology from Appalachian State University, she was a nursing assistant in skilled care facilities. She obtained her Master’s in Counselor Education from North Carolina State University in 2016.
Danielle strives to provide a safe and empathetic space where clients can freely express their thoughts and emotions, navigate life transitions, process traumatic experiences, and improve boundaries within their relationships with those closest to them. Danielle incorporates a strengths-based approach in her work with clients, and utilizes a blend of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and solution-focused modalities. Populations she serves include teens and their families, college students, individuals, and couples. In addition, Danielle has experience providing psychotherapy services to first generation college students, athletes, and individuals with complex medical issues.
