Rebecca is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCASA). She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Work at North Carolina State University, and then went on to receive her Master’s degree in Social Work, also at NCSU. Rebecca specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults.
Rebecca has a wide range of experience working with individuals of all ages who have faced significant challenges related to mental health and substance use. Her work in inpatient facilities, group therapy, and school social work demonstrates a well-rounded approach to addressing these complex issues and providing support to those in need.
Rebecca‘s dedication to creating a nurturing and empathetic environment underscores her commitment to fostering therapeutic relationships where clients feel supported and safe to explore their potential. By prioritizing the client’s well-being and growth, she aims to empower individuals to embark on a transformative journey towards self-discovery and personal development.
Her utilization of a variety of treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-based interventions, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strength-based Therapy, showcases her dedication to offering comprehensive and tailored support to help clients on their journey towards healing and growth.
In her free time, Rebecca enjoys spending quality time with her family and fiance, her two cats, gardening, and traveling.
