Bio: My name is Reinatou Sadou, and I am a licensed clinical mental health professional with a rich background that spans continents and cultures. Originally from Niger in West Africa, I grew up in Greensboro, NC, which has given me a profound understanding of diverse populations. I graduated from Wake Forest University and have extensive experience working with individuals across the lifespan, from children to the elderly, addressing a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, conduct disorders, trauma, addiction, psychotic disorders, and life transitions.
My professional journey includes valuable experience in school-based, outpatient, and inpatient settings, making me highly adaptable to various therapeutic environments. I am skilled in providing individual, family, and group therapy, always tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. My person-centered approach emphasizes the importance of prioritizing the individual, understanding their specific needs, and developing concise, personalized treatment plans. I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic alliance and view therapy as a collaborative process aimed at achieving common goals.
I am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can express themselves freely and without judgment.
