Rebecca graduated from Fordham University in New York with her Masters in Social Work. Her favorite population to work with is children and adolescents. Rebecca’s internships focused on schools and community centers. She has extensive experience in creating helpful interventions to help children and adolescents excel and overcome whatever challenges they are facing. She utilizes play therapy as her primary treatment modality. Play therapy provides a safe and comfortable environment to explore feelings and challenges in order to help the child develop coping skills. Rebecca’s therapeutic approach is warm, fun, and engaging. Her primary focus when working with children and adolescents is self-esteem improvement. Her goal is to create a fun and safe space where her clients feel comfortable expressing themselves in a non-judgment environment. In Rebecca’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her children and her pets.
